Deeplish Anti-Bullying Week started on Monday 22nd November with an assembly where the school council performed a play that showed how words can be used to bully people.
In school this week each class will be looking at the school anti bullying policy, to learn what was in it and to understand how bullying is not acceptable at our school.
Children will also be using the videos on Espresso, designing posters and creating our anti-bullying awareness trees - each child will be able to post their thoughts on a leaf or butterfly which will be displayed. Children will aslo be using their PHSCE time to discuss the issue and on how to tackle it.
